How to Make Delicious Banana and Peanut Butter Homemade Dog Pupcakes

If you're looking for a tasty treat that your dog can enjoy, why not try making these delicious and easy-to-make pupcakes? This versatile recipe can also be used to make a double-layer 4" cake or baked donuts if you have a donut pan.


Ingredients

  • Flaxseed Oil (¼ cup)

  • Free-Range Eggs (2)

  • Organic Bananas (1)

  • Peanut Butter (¼ cup)

  • Organic Oat Flour (⅔ cup)

  • Organic Baking Soda (1 tsp)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

  2. In a blender, mix together the banana, peanut butter, flaxseed oil, and eggs until fully blended.

  3. Add flour and baking powder; mix until smooth.

  4. Grease a muffin tin with additional coconut oil and spoon the batter into each muffin cup, filling them ¾ full.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 18 – 20 minutes until golden brown on top.

  6. Let cool before decorating or serving to your furry friend!


Frosting


You can add some creative decorations to your pupcakes with these frosting ideas:

  • Coconut: Mix together 1 cup of chilled coconut cream, approximately ¼ cup of tapioca flour, and 1 tablespoon of gelatin. To use, separate cream from coconut liquid and whip the cold coconut cream until fluffy before adding gelatin.

  • Carob: Mix together 1 cup of chilled coconut cream, approximately ¼ cup of carob powder, and 1 tablespoon of gelatin. To use, separate cream from coconut liquid and whip the cold coconut cream until fluffy before adding gelatin.

  • Peanut Butter: Mix together 1 cup of chilled coconut cream, ¼ cup of peanut butter powder, and 1 tablespoon of gelatin. To use, separate cream from coconut liquid and whip the cold coconut cream until fluffy before adding gelatin.
